Teens who have made a Difference: Prezi Project

For our next project in technology, you will create a Prezi presentation on a teenager who has made a difference in the world/their community based on the following information:

  • ​Students learn that people no older than themselves can make a difference
  • Use research skills through internet resources to find supportive data
  • Write an essay (100 points) and to create their presentation (100 points) to be shared with the class

Deadlines:

  • Subject chosen nlt Wednesday, October 13, 2015
  • Essay/attribution due October 22, 2015
  • Presentations due on October 22 and 23

 

Take a bit of time today and research for a teenager who has made a difference in his or her community. Type in “teenagers who have made a difference,” and find someone who you can relate to in some way and who will be interesting to create a project about. Make sure there is plenty of information and pictures to fill a 5 slide Prezi. After you’ve chosen your topic subject, answer the following questions in complete sentences:

Process

Teen Hero PowerPoint Presentation

 Objective:  Create a PowerPoint presentation about a teenager who has made an impact AS A TEENAGER.

 

  1. Decide which teenager you will do research on.  Your person should be someone who has contributed something of importance to society or history and has become famous because of it AS A TEENAGER.

Have this person approved!

  • Create an 8-slide PowerPoint presentation about the teenage hero you have chosen to research.
  • ALL information on EACH slide must be in bullet points or numbers EXCEPT for the headline/title.
  • ALL proper nouns, titles, headlines and ALL FORMS OF I (I, I'm, I'd, I've, I'll) MUST BE CAPITALIZED.
  • No space BEFORE punctuation.
  • Space must be AFTER punctuation.
  • All words must be spelt correctly
  • You must have pictures ON EACH SLIDE! Pictures must be clear and appropriate.  They must add to the purpose and design of the slides.
  • Slides should be clear, easy to read, and well balanced
  • Present to class:
  • Speak clearly
  • Explain each slide thoroughly
  • Make it easy to understand
  • READ OVER WHAT YOU WRITE: Grammar MUST be correct.
  • COPY AND PASTE THE QUESTIONS. Then write the answer in a COMPLETE sentence AFTER the question. Example:
