Un Viaje

Introduction

Your school has been given money to fund a trip throughout the Spanish-speaking world this summer and you and your classmates get to decide which five countries would be the most fun to visit!  As a class you will get to plan the best trip ever!

Task

In order to decide which countries would be best to visit, you are responsible for researching one country and then sharing a project with the class about that country. Your task is to discover what foods are commonly eaten in your country, if it is safe to travel there, what the top attractions are, what animals live there, and what the weather is like in the summer. Based on the information you learn and present to your classmates, they will decide which countries they would prefer to visit. Your project must include details about each topic and pictures that represent them.

RUBRIC for UN VIAJE PROJECT

Conclusion

Now that you have successfully created your project and shared it with the class, as well as viewed your classmates projects, which countries would you most like to visit? Please write a paragraph summarizing which 3 countries you would most like to visit and state a reason why for each. Then write a paragraph about at least 2 countries that you would not include in your travel itinerary and explain why. After it is determined which countries are the top 5 that the class would like to visit, we will look at a world map and plan our summer trip itinerary as a class!
