Task
Your job is to learn how our government works. Use the internet sites provided to find out who makes the laws, carries out the laws, and decides if laws have been broken for our national government. The information you gather will be used to create a Google Slide Show.
Process
1. You will be working on this project with your partner.
2. Your partner and you will need to learn about the three branches of government by reading Ben's Guide on the Internet. Use your graphic organizer to take notes on each branch. Follow the arrows until you see Ben at a chalkboard. You will become familiar with what each branch does.
3. Each team will learn about the Legislative, Executive, or Judicial branches of government. Use Encyclopedia Britannica to learn more.
4. When you finish taking notes, each group will make a Google Slide Show.
Conclusion
It is important for us to know about how our government works. You should now know the governing bodies that make the laws, carry out the laws, and determine if the laws have been broken should be able to explain this to someone else.
