Today you will be completing a WebQuest about the three different types of rocks. We will be using a couple different resources to help us become experts on the different types of rocks.
Task
After completing the WebQuest, you will be able to list at least three fun facts about rocks. You will also be able to describe one specific rock. For this WebQuest you will need a paper, pencil, art box, and three sheets of computer paper. Please have all of these items ready to go before you start!
The problem:
The general is very misinformed about the three different types of rocks! What a shame! As experts about the different types of rocks, it is our duty to help everyone out. As you are completing the WebQuest, be sure to take careful notes about the three different types of rocks.

Now take the information you gathered and make an advertisement for one of the categories of rocks! List 3 facts about the category of rock and include one example.
