Introduction
Today we will learn something more about one of the most diffuse illnesses for people over 60 years: the Alzheimer's disease.
Task
You will have to prepare a PowerPoint presentation (10 slides) about the Alzheimer's disease, working in groups of 5 students. If the group is 6 person, the slides should be 12.
Each student of the group will have the responsibility of creating two slides on one of the following arguments (is the group is 6 persons, also the 6th point must be developed):
- a description of the main symptoms;
- the causes of the illness;
- the therapies;
- hopes for the future;
- the engagement of the families in caring for Alzheimer's patients;
- the costs borne by the National Health Care for the Alzheimer's patients.

Expand the field of investigation by taking all the necessary material from other accredited websites.
Indicate the complete bibliography in the 13th page of the presentation.
During the next lesson, after the description of your own work to the class, you will have to answer a short written questionnaire (individually, not in group) on all the arguments of your PowerPoint presentation.
Evaluation
In carrying out the task, keep in mind the following evaluation grids: you have to take the maximum in all the points!
