Introduction
Hello, In this WebQuest we will conduct an Art Journal! This is a fun and easy way to express yourself while gaining skills in your art work. You will be graded on your praticipation and your improvement on your work. This is a fun and easy way to get our artist hands going! I will be checking Journals every week, so lets get started!
Grade Level: 6-12
Time Limit: 6 Weeks (can be longer)
Task
Artist!
You must complete one journal entry for all 6 elements that we are going over this semester!
This includes: Form, Shape, Space, Line, Value and Texture! Plus 5 or more personal art works that shows your personality! Please let your imagination run! Art work is a thing of beauty!
Process
You may use the internet to get your imagination going! Books, magazines, and music are good resource sources to get your mind going as well!
Week One:
We will be going over FORM. This will start off the first page in our art journals! Create something that has to do with FORM.
Week Two:
This week we will be all about SHAPE. In your journal create an art work that has to do with shape.
Week Three:
This week we will introduce SPACE. Create an art work that shows the depths of space and how you can use it.
Week Four:
This week we will go over the importance of line. Please create a journal entry with line.
Week Five:
This week we will go over value. Create a journal which shows the light and darkness in shading and value.
Week Six:
This final week we go over texture. Find a way to put texture in your journals!
