Introduction

Help Breanna find a pet! She wants a nice pet that she can show her parents that she is responsible! SHe wants a dog, cat, and a fish. She likes pretty animals that are friendly. SHe wants a black shaggy dog. An athletic cat that has little or no tail. ANd a stripped fish that is black and white.

Task

Students will create a concept map of different catagories that could be Breannas pet. Students will google the animal they think is correct from watching the videos and find one interseting fact about them. There will be three catagories dogs, cats, or fish. The class will be broken upinto three groups and explain specific characteristics of each type. Then students will draw a picture based on which choice Breanna is looking for.

After you watch the video create a concept map on the poster board paper, of which dogs/cats/fish you chose to like and why?

Then highlight the one that would fit best for Breanna and draw a picture.

Then look up an intersesting fact on the pet.

Evaluation

After each group picks the favorite animal for Breanna students will draw to the best of their ability the animal. 

Each group will present to the class: the grade will depend on the concept map and information based on the animal
