The Effects of Junk Food on Children's Health

Introduction

Alert!!!!!

We have just received breaking news that students were reported sick after lunch and are now hospitalized. There was no reported cause for the sudden illness, but speculations have revealed that the only common factor that may have contributed to the illness is the food the children ate. They all ate a combination of pizza, burgers, fries and candy bars and  began throwing up after.

It was found that the children who were reported sick  were all at a party to celebrate the start of the summer break. They consumed an excessive about of junk foods that were available to them and  immediately start feeling ill after. They were taken to the hospital and the doctor  is curious as to what could contribute to their sudden illness. The doctor is speculating that the sudden illnesses might have resulted from the excessive consumption of junk food at the party.

Your mission is to find out the harmful effects that junk food can have on children to help the doctor confirm  his diagnosis. Do you think we can help to impact positively on the future practices of these students?

Conclusion

Dear Students,

Your information was very useful in helping me to decide on the cause of the children’s illness. I am so proud of you! Because of your valid information, I am now able to sensitize the students of the harmful effects of eating  a lot of junk food. The children are now doing well and have decided to gravitate more towards healthy eating. I hope you will also start to make healthy food choices. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in completing this mission.

Yours faithfully,

Dr. John Phillips
