Process
Here are the steps you must take to try to get the animals back to the zoo:
1. Introduce yourself to the other researchers
2. Divide up the research (i.e. one person searches for the foods the animal likes, another searches for the habitat, and another looks for adaptations).
3. Begin researching and taking notes about your zoo animal.
4. Work with your group to create a presentation showing what you have learned from your research.
Presentation must include:
*Description and picture of your animal
*What your animal eats
*Is your animal an omnivore, herbivore, or carnivore?
*Adaptations
*Habitat
*Pictures of what it's new habitat in the zoo should be like.
5. Practice your presentation so you are ready to present to the class.
Evaluation
Presentations and slides will be evaluated by teacher informally. Make sure to stay on task in your research and planning! The zookeepers are counting on you to save the animals and the zoo!
Conclusion
Congratulations researcher!
If you have followed all the steps to fix this emergency situation, you have successfuly returned your animal to the zoo and given it a home it will love!
