Welcome to the Enchanting World of Storybook Land! 

You are traveling here from another planet and we need your help! Recently, the evil Dr. Grimm has stolen all the books that each fairy tail resides in. If these books are not returned, than the children of Earth will begin to start developing at a slower rate and the human race will slow its development dramatically! Please help us before its too late! Click the Task Button to learn what you can do to help! . 

Task

Dr. Grimm hid all the stories around the world! It is your job to find different versions of the fairy tales and compare and contrast them with one another to find the book

Process

1.) Read the following article on why fairy tales are important:

2.) Than help Cinderella find her story book! 

Pick three different versions of Cinderella

Create a chart of your choice to copmpare and contrast the three stories.

3.) Than venture to Sleeping Beautys Castle and awaken the princess from her slumber by reading three differnet versions of her story.

5.)The Last thing you must do is create a Story Map of one of the versions of the storys you read. Make sure to indlude the Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Conclusion. Include three themes from the selected story. 

 

6.) Finally! You found all the books! Thank you so much! As a thank you from storybook land you have been selected to write your own fairy tale to include in the Hall of Tales! Your only ristrictions are as follows: 

  • Follows story map structure
  • Includes at least three themes from the chart
  • Written in complete sentences with correct grammar
  • Spelling and punctuation are accurate 
  • Three Pages long
