Haudenosaunee Tribe Project

Introduction

Today you and your partners will become members of one tribe from the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. With your partners, you will work together to learn more about this tribe. You will try to imagine what your life would be like if you were part of this tribe. After you have learned all you can about your tribe, you will become the teacher and teach the rest of the class about that tribe. Good luck!

Task

1. You and your partners will research the Haudenosaunee tribe that you have been assigned to study.

 2. You will learn about what life was like for members of this particular Haudenosaunee tribe by using different websites to research it.   3. While you are researching your tribe, you will complete the Haudenosaunee Tribe Questionnaire. 4. Your group will create a poster that includes all the important information you have learned about your Haudenosaunee tribe.   5. You and your group will present your information to the rest of the class. Your goal is to teach your classmates about the Haudenosaunee tribe you studied.
