Introduction
Headlice is a common problem that affects our school. As most teachers, parents and students are aware, the prevention and treatment of head lice is surrounded by a large amount of myths and misinformation. These myths are in the area of head lice treatment and prevention. Unfortunatley much of the misinformation has been created due to the stigma associated with having headlice.
Headlice are small wingless insects that can only survive when in human hair. Head lice are spread through direct hair contact with another person, which is why it is important to not have contact with other students in this way.
Task
Your task is to create a brochure outlining information for your fellow students and parents of the school about head lice. Your brochure should attract attention and be easily understood. Think about the use of pictures and headings to attract attention.
Once your brochure is complete, you will share it with your fellow classmates and your parents. Following this, a class display of brochures will be organised where your brochure will be displayed.
Process
To begin, you will need to research what you know about headlice. You should look at what they are, prevention and treatments.

Once you have completed your research, you need to put this into your brochure. Think about catchy and creative ways to do this. Include pictures and simple information.
After your brochure is finished, you will present it to the class.
