****BRIEF REVIEW****
In 1896 we learned that segregation was determined to be legal under the seperate but equal doctrine in the U.S. Supreme court case of Plessy v. Fergusen.
Segregation is defined as set apart from the main group, in the case of Plessy v. Fergusen, segregation meant separating people based on their race/color.
