Introduction
Not only is Paris the capital of France, but it is also the largest francophone city in the world! Each year, millions flock to Paris to experience its unique culture, history, landmarks, and hear its beautiful language. You and your "family" have a wonderful opportunity to visit Paris this summer for 7 days and see all that it has to offer. Even though you all have different interests, you will plan a trip that suits the needs of all "family members". While in Paris, you will take photos and record journal entries of each of your destinations. Finally, you will share your experience with your classmates in a photo album or visual presentaion.
Task
Your task is to research various sites in Paris you would like to visit and ....
1.) Create a 5-day itinerary of your Paris vacation. Do not plan to visit more than two sites per day. Be sure to include the arrondissement and nearest metro stop of each location to make travel on the metro more efficient.
Upon arrival in Paris you will....
2.) Take photos of each destination and record a 3-5 sentence journal entry in French of where you went and what you did at each location.
When you return back home, you will....
3.) Assemble all photos and entries in a scrapbook or visual presentation to share with your classmates.

-Select the family member you would like to be for this trip to Paris
Père - You love art and music. You are a Humanities professor at the university.
Mère - You love to read. Your favorite books are historical fiction and non-fiction. You have read about many famous politicians such as Napoleon and King Louis XIV.
Frère - Your brother likes parks and being outdoors. He wants to be a chef.
Soeur - You want to be an architect. You would love to see buildings or monuments that have interesting architectural details.
-Plan a 5-day itinerary listing site, arrondissement and metro stop. Plan no more than 2 stops per day and use the map to make your travels accross the city efficient

Conclusion
Congratulations! By completing this project, you have now become more familiar with the overall layout of the city of Paris and are able to locate where various famous landmarks are. You also have a greater knowledge of what Paris has to offer. You have seen historical and architectural sites, museums, cemetaries, parks, zoos, neighborhoods, universities, churches, cathedrals, etc. all around Paris. You are able to plan how to go from site to site. You can also share your research in simple French sentences accompanied by visual aides to your classmates.
