This webquest is for young students. It is just to explain instructions to the students. It will help them identifty colors and shapes.
Introduction
Your class is having a party. Your teacher has gave each student a task and yours is the decorations. You need to make decorations for your party in the classroom. You want it to look bright and colorful. Goodluck!
Task
You are in charge of decorations. It is your job to make the room look creative. Your teacher has requested for you to make 5 decorations. Each decoration has to be a different shape and also 5 different colors. It is important that you do this with your decorations. Your task is important so plan carefully for your party. You want to impress your teacher so goodluck!
Process
Step 1: Choose the five different shapes you want to use for your decorations.
Step 2: Decide what color you will use for your different decorations. Remember: your decorations have to be five different colors.
Step 3: Draw each of your decorations on a sheet of plain white paper. Each decoration needs to be on a different piece of paper. Draw your decoration on the paper how the decoration will look and use the color you chose.
Step 4: On the back of the paper, write what shape is used and what color.
Evaluation
Your score will be based on a 1-5 scale.
To receive a 5: Student will need to create five different decorations for the party. Each decoration should be a different shape and different color. All shapes have to be drawn out for the teacher to see.
To receive a 4: Student successfully completed the assignment but did not follow correct instructions. For example: Designed decorations but did not use different shapes or colors for each decoration.
To recieve a 3: Partically followed the instructions. Created decorations but did not use correct shapes or colors. Only created 3 or 4 decorations.
To recieve a 2: Did not follow directions. Decorations were not created correctly
To revieve a 1: Did not complete the assignment. Decorations were not completed.
Conclusion
Your decorations should all be different when you are finished. The party will look awesome thanks to all of your work! The class cannot wait to see what you create!
