Individually you will do research to learn about the different ways propaganda was used during World War 2. While researching remember to take notes and try to answer the following questions: How effective are these forms of propaganda? Which do you believe is the most effective and can you defend your opinion? What would have happened if these weren't used?
Here are a few websites to help you get started with research:

You will turn in your research after everything is complete for a grade.
Next you will write an essay that covers all of that you researched. The essay needs to be atleast 5 paragraphs and answer the questions listed above to recieve full-credit. You're more than welcome to answer any other questions in the essay that you come up with on your own.
Last, you will create a design for a propaganda poster that you think would have been used during World War 2. This poster is not allowed to copy a poster already created. However, yours may be similar. The poster must be the size of a piece of printer paper (8 1/2 x 11) and it must cover the whole paper. Your poster must be in color using coloring pencils, crayons, and/or markers. To help you on deciding if your poster topic would be one used during World War 2 think about these questions: Would it aid the war effort? Would it aid your hometown during the war? Would it aid in bringing in money during the war? You do not have to physically answer these questions, they are just to think about. One day in class when everyone is finished you will be expected to present your poster to the class, explaining why you drew what you drew.
When you are finished, turn everything in to me! To see how you will be evaluated on this project continue to the "Evaluation" tab.
