Will L. Violence and Abuse

Introduction

Every year more than 10 million people are physically and sexually abused all around the world. It is so widespread and common that an estimated 20 people are abused by an intimate partner every minute. Here are some more shocking statistics but first, right now I want you to write down what you know or even what you think you know about domestic violence and sexual abuse and what you think about it . Take that paper and save it we will use it again later.

*1 in 3 women have experienced physical violence by a partner.

*1 in 4 men have experienced physical violence by a partner.

*Women between the ages of 18 and 24 are the most common victims of domestic violence.

Try to think about why these statistics are what they are and what can we do to stop domestic and sexual violence.

Remember this is a vital part of the project and should be taken seriously.

There is a rubric on the evaluation tab to better help you understand the requirements.

Evaluation

For the evaluation of your project everyone who wrote a campaign speech will come to the front of the class and read it aloud. After everyone has had a chance to read the rest of the class will get 2 minutes to decide which one they like best. After the class has decided which one they liked best that person will be announced the winner and president of the class. If the winner is Ms. Stephens the offices is no longer a democratic position it become a dictatorship ruled by a tyrant with an iron fist that turns into the 斯蒂芬斯 (Stephens) dynasty lasting a thousand years.

Below is your grading rubric which is out of 12 total points.
