Task

There is a student that is new at your school. Most of the times when he speaks you realize that his subject and verb does not agree. You saw a paragraph that he wrote and you realize that he does not only uses the wrong subject verb agreement in his speech but also in his writing.

Being one of his closest friends you are going to help him correct the problem he has by:

a. creating a simple table which consist of the rules governing subject verb agreement.

b. design/create online flashcards about subject verb agreement

C. Explaining the importance of subjects agreeing with verbs.

d. list the different types of verbs.

This WebQuest is about Subject-Verb Agreement. It is one of the very challenging grammar topics that students struggle with. This lesson should provide some amount of clarity on the concept if the  students follow the guidelines. This WebQuest can be completed in two sessions of Language Arts Class, each session lasting for 60 minutes. This lesson could also serve as a take home exercise.
