101 Facts about the UK

Introduction

This WebQuest is designed to celebrate the 101st year of Estonia being an independent country by means of investigating 101 amazing facts about the United Kingdom.

It is supposed to be completed by four groups of four EFL learners aged 15-16 years old in a technology-facilitated classroom, where each group is given a number of tasks aiming at raising their awareness of a unique set of the UK facts.

WebQuest completion serves as preparation for a groupwork project consisting of four posters, each giving an overview of the investigated facts on the UK.

Task

TASK 1

In a group of four, use the links to find the answers to the worksheet questions. You have to work as a whole group on every question.
