Task

Here is your task:

Find 5 Olympic sports. Describe the event in one paragraph with complete sentences. Describe what countries participated, who received a gold, silver or bronze medal, and finally what were their times, distances or scores. 

Use a PowerPoint to complete this assignment. Do 6 or more slides. Add pictures, color or movement. You can also do a PowerPoint with and Adventure Game, where you link one slide to another. 5 additional points will be awarded when the assignment is done appropriately & correctly.

Process

Here are the steps to create your project:

 

1.  Browse through the events and choose 5.

2.  Once you've chosen your events, open up PowerPoint and begin create your slides. You may want to explain what the event is about. If you wish to hyperlink to a website, I will show the entire class how to do that.

3. While working on yours, look at others to see what they have created.

4. When finished, let me know so that I can grade yours.

5. You will present your PowerPoint to the class using the projector. I will help you do that.
