6th Grade Coat of Arms

Introduction

Hello and welcome to your next computer task which is to complete this webquest on your "Coat of Arms."

The steps for the completing this task are tabs that you select to complete each part of the task.

Task

Your task is to research your family's coat of arms. Then create a coat of arms for yourself. Once the class is done we will do a Walk Around to see your classmates work. You will be responsible to give positive feedback or constructive criticism to each coat of arms.

You will also need to take a screenshot of your coat of arms. Then place it in a google doc and explain "Why you chose the items for your coat of arms?"

Process

Coat of Arms - definition - the distinctive heraldic bearings or shield of a person, family, corporation, or country.

2. Symbolism - what do each of the items mean on your crest?

3. Create your own coat of arms. Coat of Arms creation

Once you have created your coat of arms, do a screen shot and save it. How do I make a screen shot?
Apple - Command - Shift - 4 It will save to your desktop
Windows -Start menu -Snipping tool- New Save it to the picture folder

After you have saved your coat of arms, put it in a Google Doc. Name your document Coat of Arms Lastname
Below your coat of arms, explain why you selected the items on your shield.
Turn into Google Classroom.
