7 Regions of Mexican Cuisine

Mexican food has grown to become one of the most popular cuisines among the American people. The various Mexican dishes we love and enjoy originate from the seven Mexican regions. It is up to YOU to create a successful Mexican restaurant that will satisfy the people!

1.You will be provided with a local neighborhood and instructed to research the given neighborhood's demographics.

2. Take notes focusing on the civilians and their cultures.

3. Based off of your research, you will then create a restaurant with a menu that will be very appealing to the people of your neighborhood.

2. You will then be given a neighborhood.

3. Research your neighborhood, and take notes on the cultures found within the neighborhood.

4. With the given websites, read about the history of Mexican cuisine and where different Mexican dishes originate from.

5. Based off of your neighborhood, figure out which dishes would best satisfy the customers who will be dining at your restaurant.

By the end of this task you should have a better understanding of the origins of Mexican cuisine, as well as an understanding of the research on demographics.
