Parts of Speech WebQuest

Introduction

As you know, we have been studying the parts of speech in class.  This WebQuest is designed to give you more opportunities to explore and understand the parts of speech.

Task

Working in pairs, you will visit the assigned sites, taking notes as you go.  You will view videos, read articles, and even take online quizzes using either the iPads or Macbooks.

When you have finished, you will create a visual that details your learning.  This can include a PowerPoint, Prezi, brochure, video, or other piece.

Process
  1. You will be in teacher-assigned pairs or groups.
  2. Each member of the group will visit each site listed for the assigned part of speech.
  3. Each member of the group will take notes to be turned in at the end of the WebQuest.
  4. Each member of the group will take at least one quiz dealing with their part of speech.
  5. As a group, you will create a visual that will be used to teach the rest of the class about your assigned part of speech.
