 The only place where Coqui could live is at Puerto Rico

 

Introduction

Teach the students in Spanish different animals/reptiles. I will use flash cards and pictures. Talk specifically about frogs.

The student will be able to recognize and identify the reptile.

Talking about reptile we can learn that there is a small frog name Coqui and it only grows up at Puerto Rico.

 The Task

The student’s task could be:

• Describe the Coqui

They should know the animals in Spanish by matching the word in English vs the word in Spanish.

The Process

1. The student will search for information at www.google.com about the Coqui.

2. The student will search at YouTube, what noise does it make?

3. Write how it sound

4. You are going to write a paragraph where you can find them, what color are they?

5. This will done with one or two class periods.

Conclusion

Student must summary statement here about what they learned about the Coqui and how it is different than other frogs.
