approaches to teaching english

Introduction

This WebQuest is about approaches to teaching English which is our main subject for this semester. This WebQuest will help you to access the necessary information from the various websites gathered by me. At the end of the semester, you will be evaluated from the application videos of yours, compositions you have written and the presentations you will present in the classroom in the last two weeks.

In this WebQuest, you will be able to find and understand the every step and explanation that you need. Also, you can do your own research if you need from various sources but please be careful about  specifying quotations.

If you need, you can contact with me through e-mail in weekdays.

Don't stress, do your best, forget the rest ;)

Task

This is a kind of task that you will continue to make for a whole semester. You don't need to hurry but need to work according to a plan. Every week, I will present you an approach in class. Before each course, you have to prepare for the subject.(You will be able to find necessary information and sources list from "process" section.) You are expected to participate in discussions and share your own ideas about the approaches in the courses. After each lesson, you are expected to write a composition that includes information from a variety of sources and your own thoughts with your own sentences.(You will send your compositions via e-mail.) You are also expected to shoot a video in which you apply the approach that I have presented in the last class. (You will share your videos via padlet.) In the last two weeks of the semester, you are expected to present your all works to your classmates in 20-25 minutes.

Briefly, you are expected to make your pre-readings, write compositions, shoot videos and at last, briefly present your presentations to your classmates.
