As history changed art went through major movements. In this challenge you will learn about some common art styles and the time period in which they existed.
Task
This is a group project, so you will form a group containing three students.
Your final project will be a Prezi or PowerPoint presentation about an art style that you have selected and the time period in which it existed. All finished projects will be an indication of how much you've learned about it - so do your best!
Process
Following these steps will help you stay organized.
- Watch the following video on Youtube and choose an art movement.
- Browse the net to find out about the main characteristics of this movement.
- Select the main artists and their works (include pictures).
- Find at least one historical event of that time.

Conclusion
Hopefully you have learned a little about a major art period/movement/style and the artists that were a part of it, as well as the important historical events of that time.
