This webquest was created to make learning about fractions fun and realistic. Many times, students don't make the connection from what they are learning to real life scenarios. This webquest will take at least 4 hours, but can be done over a period of days.

Some things to think about:

-Before you let students work in pairs to complete this webquest, make sure that you teach them what it looks like to work in pairs.

-Make sure that you are checking in on them to ensure that they are on task and working together collaboratively.

-Even though the students are practicing adding fractions, encourage them to explore multiplying and simplifying.
