Basic Steps in folk dancing

Introduction

We are going to discussed the basic step and dance term of the four dances .we have Three objectives 

 

1.discuss Basic steps in Folk dancing; and

2.identify dance terms and dance steps used in Binislakan, Sakuting, Sua-ku-Sua and Pangalay; and

3. execute basic steps in folk dancing

 

Task

let's have an activity, this will be the group 1, group 2, and group 3. You may now proceed to your respective groups.
Direction:
- choose a group leader write the name of your group member in ¼ sheet of paper.
- you have 5 minutes to practice, after 5 minutes you will going to perform your dance (those groups who are not done yet after 5 minutes will have a deduction 3 points.
- reminder, don’t include the name of your member who are not participated in your group.
- What are you going to do is to create your own style in dancing use the steps that we have discussed earlier. You can use your hands too if you want while you are dancing.

 

Process

Basic Steps in folk dancing “

The following dance terms and dance steps are basically used in binislakan, sakuting, sua-ku-sua and pangalay dance.

As you start to dance you should always do a saludo means to bow.

Anyone who can show how to do saludo, please come here in front one boy and one girl.

That is what we called saludo class.

Let’s give them a 2-5 clap.

Thank you may now take your seat.

I want you to pay your attention because later we will have an activity.

I will demonstrate each dance step and do it after me so that you will able to execute properly the dance step.

Conclusion

Understand and memories the dance terms and dance steps are basically used in binislakan, sakuting, sua-ku-sua and pangalay dance.- the students create their own style in dancing use the steps that we discussed earlier. They can use their hands while dancing.The performance of the students we will based on the criteria.
