Introduction
-You have finally graduated from law school and you and 3 of your classmates have gone to work for a non-profit group that promotes fair treatment under the law.
-The firm wants you and your partners to create a digital resource or newsletter to explain why the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution, the purpose of each amendment, and important Supreme Court Rulings on these protections.
-Once you become an expert you will be assigned cases, and represent clients on behalf of the non-profit group.
Task
Familiarize yourself with library resources available to you and complete the student worksheet together.
Create a PowerPoint, Prezi, or newsletter/magazine to report your findings.
You must included the following:
1.Who created the Bill of Rights and why?
2.What controversies surrounded the process.
3.Analyze: Marbury v. Madison and explain why it was such an important case.
4.Summarize each of the first 10 Amendments.
5.Describe which amendment you think is most important, least important, and create a new amendment to add to the Bill of Rights.
6.Choose one of the selected cases summarize the key facts surrounding the case, describe the ruling.
7.Find and summarize a news article using the opposing viewpoints resource.

Complete a search for a book on the Bill of Rights/Laws that is currently available in the library.
Using the student worksheet, Record the call number and find the book on the shelf. Identify the title of the two books that surround the book you choose.
