The purpose of this WebQuest/Scavanger hunt, in order to educate students on how to effectively use their Flordia Virtual Techbook and located content within these documents. This is also precursor to engaging with the actual content of Module 1.
Task
This scavanger hunt will require the student to use the biology checklist and identify several components of this Modules and overall structure of lessons in the Floridia Virtual System.
Process
1. Read the introduction to determine the focus of the lesson.
2. Read the task to determine the activity you will engage in.
3. Read the instructions at the top of the evaluation section to accurately complete the activity.
Evaluation
Instructions: Students will use the Biology Checklist and its resources to answer the following scavenger hunt questions. Students will document their responses in a manner designated by the instructor. 1. Using the biology Checklist, determine the number of possible points a student may earn for this module?
2. There are a total of 5 sections that require a student to dedicated 120 minutes to complete the activity?
3. Biology checklist slide three describes biology as a study of what?
4. Based on the biology checklist foundations, what is one of the central laboratory tools, you will become familiar with during this section?
