Body Systems

Introduction

Hello 4th grade researchers, today you are going to go on a quest to help your classmates understand human body systems. It is your job to ensure their understanding of your body system. You will research information about your system and eventually create a presentation to share with the class.

Task

Each group is expected to research a body system and be able to present about:

-Where in the body the system is located?
-Why is this system important?
-What are its primary organs?
-What each organ's main function is?
-Give three major characteristics of the system.

Groups will need to plan, research, and present information.

Process

Day 1:

1.Group members will read project instructions and rubric. The rubric will explain exactly how to earn a 100 on this project.

2.Plan how your group will research the information needed for this project.

Day 2 and 3:

1. Research information to answer these questions:

-Where in the body the system is located?
-Why is this system important?
-What are its primary organs?
-What each organ's main function is?
-Give three major characteristics of the system.
