Introduction
Students will use this webquest to aid them in creating their book reports. All the worksheets they will need to turn in during this book report process can be found on here. This will be used to walk you through the process of making a book report with the requirements of discussing the character development and the symbolism throughout a novel.
Task
Students will:
- Pick a book
- Read the book
- fill out a character development chart
- note symbolism
Process
1. Pick a book of your choice.
- genre of your choice
- must be a novel with multiple chapters
2. Read the book.
3. Click here to access the character development chart worksheet.
4. Complete the worksheet based on the characters in your book.
5. As you notice symbolism in your book note it on a new document with a set up of you choice (graphic organizer, chart, list etc.)
6. Write the Report
When writing your book report including the character information and the symbolism you noticed.
- 2-3 Pages
- MLA format (12pt font, double spaced, times new roman)
