Introduction
Background:
The Boston Tea Party wasn't your average tea party- so put away your teacups.
On December 16, 1773 there were 342 chests of tea thrown overboard three ships in the Boston Harbor. This was an act of protesting against the British government. This event was key in leading up to the American Revolution.
Task
Students will be asked to think critically about the causes and effects of The Boston Tea Party of December 16, 1773. Following their research, they will be asked to construct a 5 paragraph essay focusing on the ideas below.
