Introduction
What would you do if you found out that there was a lot of gold in your backyard? Would you rush outside to look for it? That's kind of what happened during the California Gold Rush. Most American settlers were located on the East coast of the United States. When these people from the East of the United States heard that there was a lot of gold in California, they rushed over to this state to try to find it to become rich.
Task
The goal of this webquest is for you to create a slide show presentation about the California Gold Rush as an introduction to it.
