Introduction
Through this webquest, you will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the structure and operation of government in Canada under a federal system. You will also learn about the Nova Scotia government.
The expectation is that students will:
- be able to explain citizenship
- understand equality and fairness in Canada
- summarize the purposes of municipal, provincial and federal governments
- gather and record information from various primary and secondary sources
Task
You will be given the activity sheets required to complete the webquest. You will write your answers down on the sheets as you complete each step. These will be handed in to be evaluated. Listed below are the names of the activity sheets you will be required to complete:
Evaluation
You will hand in the activity sheets and be evaluated on your answers to the questions. Each page has a different total. The total for all six pages is 70 points. Each activity sheet is worth 10 points and the last one is worth 20 points.
