Introduction
Are you bored with the same old vacations to the lake or the beach? Do you lijke rocks or water? Well, you and your fellow astronauts are getting ready to travel to the dark side. You are in for the most exciting vacation ever. After you research all the planets, you will decide which planet you would like to visit.
Task
You and a fellow astronaut (partner) will gather information on all the planets. (1)You will write your data about the 8 planets of our solar system on your flight recorder sheet. (2) Using the information you recorded, decide which planet you and your partner would like to visit on vacation. (3) Create a poster with information about your vacation destination - planet.
Process
Your teacher will assign you a partner. You and your partner will find information about all the planets in our Solar System. Each team will input their data on the Our Solar System sheet provided. To do your research, view the Our Solar System PowerPoint provided. Click on the name of the planet and it will take you to your planet. Read the information and collect any data you can use to answer the questions on your sheet. Feel free to include any interesting facts you find about the planets. Once you have completed finding your data, you and your partner will decide which planet you would like to visit on vacation. You will create a travel poster about your planet.
