Students Need to Feel the Heat

Introduction

Teachers are familiar with Heat Maps.

Let's share the knowledge with students.

They will be able to feel the heat and help develop their own intervention plans.

Task

Through the use of a Webquest, you will learn a little about the following science TEKS

  • 7.12B
  • 7.13B
  • 7.12D
  • 7.7A

Process

The presentor will divide the participants up into four groups.

Each person in the group will be responsible for following directions on one card.  There are 5 cards, so if your group has less than 5 members the person who's birthday is furthest away from today will be responsible for remaining card.

Each answer should be justified by providing evidence in your own words (do not copy word for word) or through a picture with verbal justification.

Once all members of the group have found the answers, share the information with the others.

You will have 30 minutes to complete your assignment.
