Introduction

The ancient Greeks and Romans are one of the many cultures in the ancient world which influenced American and European civilizations. They contributed in housing, medicine, food, and clothing. In our minds they may seem the same but they have many differences. They involved different empires, heroic victories and defeats.
These civilizations had similarities but many different features too. What similarities did they have in respect to housing, food, medicine and clothing? What were the differences? Which aspects can we see of Greek and Roman life present today? Did one have a greater impact on the present than the other?
