Introduction
In this Webquest you will explore the different components inside of a computer.
Task
Your job is to research the following computer hardware parts:
- Motherboard
- Central Processing Unit (CPU)
- Random Access Memory (RAM)
- Power Supply
- Video Card
- Hard Drive (HDD)
- Solid-State Drive (SSD)
- Optical Drive (e.g. BD/DVD/CD drive)
- Card Reader (SD/SDHC, CF, etc.)
You will need to answer the following questions about each one:
- What does it do?
- Why is it important?
- Pictures
Process
After you have researched each piece of hardware, you will need to present your findings by creating a Google Slides presentation. It must also include pictures of each item.
The lifewire website might be a good place to get started, but feel free to use any site that you choose. Do not forget to put a copy of your sources somewhere on your finished product--you don't want to plagiarize. Put the information in your own words! I will be checking!
