- Look through several different careers on this website: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=career+spotlight click on any one that says career spotlight.
- Research possible careers (Look at choose a career page)
- Choose a career (on the page or one of your own) and on the career page write in your career in the space provided. Think about how much education or training is needed?
- Find annual salary (Either given on choose a career page or research on your own)
- Divide annual salary by 12 to get your monthly salary. Put that amount at the bottom of the Choose a Career page. (Use a calculator to check)
- Write a monthly salary on top of your Budget spreadsheet paper next to the star
Keep all of your papers in your math folder to use for Part 3
Make sure you can tell me why you chose your career, how math is used in today’s activities and what was included in the videos.
