In the 21st century, technology innovation increases rapidly due to Globalization. Technology has been used in numerous ways, but now it has come to a point that the need for technology to be integrated in subjects is deem as necessary. The use of technology benefits students and teachers in many ways. It creates many opportunities in the future for students. Therefore, technology usage in the classroom is vital for students learning and improvement of different skills. Teachers are responsible for student learning and must find ways for students to progress in grades and learning experiences.

 

Poetry

Poetry is described as many ways of using other language.  It is said to be often based on the interplay of words and rhythm. In poetry, words are put together to form sounds, images, and ideas that might be too complex or abstract to describe directly ( Literary Terms, n.d).

 

Task

  2. Write key notes of what you learnt or considered important from the passage.
  3. Take note of different inventions.
  4. You will create a poem. You will also create your own pictures.
Process
  1. After reading the comprehension, find a partner to work with.
  2. Compare and discuss answers.
  3. One person will be the scribe to write key points.
  4.  Be ready to present answers.
  5. In pairs, you will a poem should be about technology and education.
  6. Both partners will create a cartoon picture that relates to their poem.

This is the end of the task. You have learnt about old inventions and poetry. There are many questions and ideas about the usage of ICT in the classroom. It can be integrated in all subjects to make learning worthwhile.
