If you are looking for how to do something new and exciting, like BMX, but you need help learning how to do it, then this Webquest is for you. Here youu will be learning a little bit about bicycle motor cross (BMX) and how to do some of the basic tricks of the trade for street riders.

Task
This manual will have videos and detailed descriptions to help you understand the basic idea of how to do a new trick.

Process
Bunny Hop - A bunny hop is one of the most basic and fundamental tricks in
BMX. A bunny hop is the act of jumping by raising the front wheel by pulling the handle bars up, then scooping your feet to make the back wheel match the hight of the front before it hits
the ground Before you can learn how to do any arial tricks you must master this.
Manual - A manual is a balancing act of riding with the front wheel in the air. This is a simple skill that adds style to your riding by allowing you to
string multiple tricks together
Grind - This next trick is one example of the many tricks that you cant do without knowing how to bunny hop. This is the double peg grind.

By the end of the week you will use this rubric to grade and track your progress.

Practice - Points are based on minutes of practice for up to 30 minutes a day. To find points earned, average the time you practiced for 7 days.
Distance - Each point represents the number of feet you can travel with the specified trick at the end of the 7 days
Height - Each point represents the number of feet high you can get with the specified trick.
