The students already know the basics about adding and subtracting, they also need to know how to add and subtract money before being able to be taught this lesson. I know that they know this because they were taught it through the curriculum in the past leading up to this. Today we are going to learn about the fundamental concepts relevant to the development of an economy. This will help us to learn how important money is in everyday life!
I am going to give five different links leading to different values of money, and you must view them and put then in ascending order from least to greatest.
You will all ahve to out the links in order now from smallest amount of money to the most.
After this exercise, you must follow the following link to show you just how much money the United States is in.
For your evaluation, You must name the name of the largest total debt that we are in as a country. For example, "US Federal Tax Revenue" or "Social Security" etc.
Also, you must write down the figure pf that debt even though it is changing. Whichever number sticks in your head quickest.
This must be written down and handed to the teacher.
In conclusion, all students must follow this link to an unknown website: https://www.xmasclock.com/
After they have visited this, they must calculate how much money they will spend if they spent $5.00 a day, everyday, until that count down is finished.
HAVE A GREAT DAY:)
