Introduction
In this Webquest, students will learn about the operation of integers.
Task
Students are going to:
1. Determine what is integers,
2. Represent integers using number lines,
3. Add integers.
Process
Students will be familiar about (SADS) Same sign, Add, Different sign, Subtract in operating integers.
Evaluation
1. Represent +6 and -8 in a number line.
2. Answer the following and determine each addition rule used.
a.) 4+8
b.) -3+-6
c.) -5+7
d.) -10+4
Conclusion
When adding integers we should use SADS. If the sign are the same then add and take the sign. Then, if the sign is different, subtract the number and use the sign of the largest absolute value.
