Introduction
You have just finished learning about life in the 13 Colonies. The colonies seem to be be very prosperous and successful. All is going well . . . or is it?
What events led to the colonists declaring independence?
What did England do to make its colonies mad?
Task
Your assignment is to make a google slide with at least 5 events leading to the American Revolution.
Your must have at least 5 slides.
Each slide must contain text and pictures.
It must be interesting to look at.
Videos can be added for extra credit.
Process
1. Students will research events leading to the American Revolution on the internet.
2. They will open a Google doc to do this research. Google docs will allow this student to research inside the doc by hitting the plus button. If the students use any of the information it will cite it in the footnotes.
3. The students will open a Google slide and make at least 5 slides over the events.
4. When they finish, students will turn in their presentation to Google Classroom to be graded.

Conclusion
The students have now found several causes of the revolution. They should ask themselves if the reasons were enough to lead to war. What reason put the colonists over the edge? If you were a colonist, would you have called for independence?
