Introduction

You all are very keen on farm machinery. So, here is the challenge!

Task

Imagine you are a farmer. You belong to a farmers' co-op which is interested in buying a new farm machine.

You are the only one  in the cooperative who can get information about farming machinery so,  you are given the task to make the farmers know about the machinery available on the market and the most suitable for their needs.

To accomplish your task you have to create a digital presentation which persuades farmers that the machine you are presenting is suitable for the  cooperative several needs.

 

Process

1) You can choose one tool to create your presentation. 

2) You have to synthesize information which you will read on the web, readjusting given data and  making a creative product. You can browse the following webpages:

3) Your presentation is supposed to have some pictures which can catch farmers' attention/ interest on the machine you are suggesting. The links below offer a lot of  free images:

4) Insert some charts or graphics. You can create charts or graphics using 

5) In your presentation you have to

  • introduce why you need a new machine.
  • say what tasks it is required for and what kind of farms (mixed farms, arable farms or husbandries) are going to use it.
  • present the machine, its equipments and implements explaining their mechanic parts and their  usage and costs.
  • say if you need a special license to drive it.
  • give information about the machinery maintenance ( costs, scheduled maintenance etc).

6) You are supposed to present your presentation to the farmers (your classmates) and be impressive and persuasive.
