Introduction

Welcome to Pamplona, Spain!

Are you ready to face the wrath of an angry bull, dance in the streets, watch a bull fight?  You are going to research the customs and culture behind Festival of San Fermín in Pamplona, Spain.  

Task

After researching the Festival of San Fermín, you will create a Google Document (1 page) meant to look like a real-life publication to advertise the Festival of San Fermín.  Your publication should be well thought-out, organized and captivate your reader to  want to attend the annual festival.

Process

Steps:

  1. Research the festival using the online resources found at the bottom of the page.
  2. Create a Google Document with following 4 sections.  Each section should have a title, 3-5 bullet points and at least one picture with a caption.  A Google Document template is posted in Google Classroom. 
    1. Why is the festival controversial?

    2. Food eaten during the festival.

    3. History of the festival.

    4. What is the festival, where and how is it celebrated?

  3. Decide the order that the sections will take and put them together with all the required information to make a publication.  Create a title for the document to draw attention.  Make sure to proofread your document.
  4. Submit document in Google Classroom.  See due dates on the conclusion page.
