Introduction
The topic to be covered in this lesson is the familly or Dans ma famille/La famille. Here you will be exposed to the french vocabulary for the different types of families that exist, vocabulary for each member of the family, be able to describe the members physically and personally and also develop an appreciation for role and importance of the family in the society.
Task
1)Return to the weebly cite, then select the bar that says Podcast. You will then listen to the audio in my playlist. Document the phrases, words that you heard.
2) Then return to the weebly cite, select the bar marked wikispaces. For further exploration, watch the video titles La Famille. Document the words that you see and note the pronunciation. After a discussion, you will identify the purpose of the different articles or possessive adjectives seen and heard in the video.
3. You will then in groups complete the interactive power pint in the wikispaces. Have fun and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
4. You will then create a song, poem or jingle using the vocabulary learned during the class. You will then post it to wikispaces.
Evaluation
Students will create a song, poem or jungle incorporating the vocabulary learnt throughout the lesson, record the the work on the computer-based recorder . Publish the recording in the podcast.

Students have learnt to:
State the type of families which exist and describe their families. Students are now able to communicate effectivly within that context if they are to visit a French speaking country or meet a french native.
