Introduction

This Web quest is to allow the student to learn about the various regions of the Caribbean that oil is currently being extracted and also to look at future prospective locations for exploration. The implications for the Caribbean nations who develop the industry will also be looked at and also how countries will spend the earnings to develop their nation.

Task

Students will click the links in this webquest and read the articles and watch the video. the student should be able collect information pertaining to the development of the oil industry in the Caribbean and how it affects the region. they will also learn how Guyana as one Caribbean nations seeks to develop its country from the revenue of oil resource. lastly they will answer questions posed to guide their research from the links provided.
