Introduction

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The Great Gatsby is an extravagant novel. Get ready to get lost in the mind of Jay F. Gatsby. We will read about designer parties, and a love like no other. The roaring 20’s is going to blow your mind! So, get ready to dive head first into this novel with me!

Task

Learning about the life of the party! By the end of the lesson you will know all there is to know about the Roaring 20’s. It will teach you how Jay became the life of the party, but for your sake let’s hope you do better than he did.

  • For part 1 you will have to deep dive and figure out the vocabulary words and create a journal using each word. The words are the following:

  • For part 2: In your journal I want you to compare and contrast Jay from Tom and understand why they both care for Daisy but are completely different men.
